Goldierocks, AKA Sam Hall, is an international DJ and broadcaster with a celebrity following that includes Madonna, Giorgio Armani, Richard Branson and Jade Jagger (she’s performed exclusively for them all).
Her weekly global radio show ‘The Selector’, legendary to those in the know, goes out to a staggering 44 countries; from Vietnam to Russia to Palestine, with Georgia and Libya being the most recent additions to the list. With 4.3 million dedicated weekly listeners, The Sunday Times has described it as “the most cutting-edge British music show out there.” She also hosts a late night specialist spin-off dance show ‘Selector After Dark’ broadcast in Mexico, South Africa & China. 2016 saw Sam become the ‘face of dance music’ for Capital FM presenting The Capital Weekender with Ministry of Sound, which is broadcast every Fri & Sat night from 10pm-6am in the mix, ad free nationwide across UK on FM. 2016 also saw Sam launch her own weekly independent, specialist mix show ‘IO Project’ on Pioneer DJ Radio, joining the likes of Carl Cox, John Digweed & Claptone, broadcast every Tuesday 15:00 (GMT). She is also the co-host for Bestival FM, alongside Rob Da Bank, broadcasting every Thursday 14:00 (GMT) on Soho Radio. This leads on from her coveing dance shows on Capital FM & Capital Xtra (2014-2015) including Marvin Hume’s flagship weekend show. 2015 saw Sam become an anchor for Ministry LIVE, Ministry Of Sound’s official radio station, where she was on air every day 11-3 until the stations closure. This follows on from her covering the early breakfast show on BBC Radio 1 in 2011.
