An hour to explore and see through the keyhole of classical music. An hour to speak and discover some of the great composers and their masterpieces not simply from the historical point of view but mostly from the artistic side.
For each program, Ricardo Araujo will be choosing one or several pieces from concerts who will be happening in London during the following 2 weeks and he will be explaining and analysing those programs but also giving you his personal impressions about those pieces.
Ricardo Araujo has conducted some of the leading orchestras in Europe since he was 17 and given lectures in several countries. Born in Colombia, he started his musical studies in Brussels where he gave his first concerts as a pianist at the age of 13 and later moved to Paris where he studied composition with Henri Dutilleux and started his career.
