Lock in to Main Squeeze: In Stereo, with your selectors, Mo Fingaz & BobaFatt, taking a hi-fidelity journey through Beats, Bass, Breaks & Boogie.
A two-hour upfront concoction of Soul, R&B, Reggae, D&B, Broken Beat, Garage, Grime, and a heavy quota of Hip Hop music. Eclectic sounds and sonics, a few throwback vibes, a library-nerd moment or two, some pretty average chat, and a touch of turntablism thrown in the mix for good measure. All in sterry-erry-oh.
Founded in North London around a decade ago, Main Squeeze have been rocking parties and airwaves across the capital and beyond ever since, alongside legends & luminaries too lengthy to list.
Mo Fingaz began DJing in the early noughties, as part of Bristol D&B collective Drive By, and as part of The Snugs, alongside Swaby of The Heavy. These days, when he’s not making beats or buying records, he is resident DJ for London’s longest serving Hip Hop party, The Doctor’s Orders, a regular player at Hospitality, and a founder of Near Mint Club.
BobaFatt has been DJing since the early nineties. He’s had acclaim over the years from BBC 1Xtra, Mixcloud and Fact Magazine, while his bouts on air included several years on Itch FM and recent guest spins for BBC 6 Music. He’s a longtime resident DJ for Big Chill & Soundwave in Croatia, and is label manager of First Word Records, in addition to pimping vinyl for other labels.
