Studio Philly presents ‘Cut It Out’ exhibition

Looking for art works all about Soho?

From 17 December, Studio Philly presents ‘Cut It Out’ exhibition at Soho Radio // #JagerSoho.

Studio Philly is founded by a British graphic artist Phil Bedford. From his extensive collection of old film posters, vintage books and paper ephemera, he is cutting up and juxtaposing them to create collage works new and visually striking.

Bedford says, “Collage is deconstruction and reinterpretation. It is repurposing and reinvention. This fascinates me.”

Original collage works as well as limited edition prints, reflect the rich history and heritage of the Windmill Theatre and Raymond’s Revue Bar in ’50s and 60’s Soho and explores the huge biker scene of those times.

“Soho is LONDON for me. It’s where I met most of my closest friends. Nights out at Rage at Heaven, The Wag, clothes shopping at Bond International on Newburgh Street and people watching at the Blue Posts in Berwick Street.”

Head down to 22C Great Windmill Street in Soho, London, to check it out.
